Privacy Policy
Last updated 16 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data Billovio (“we”, a product of Deev) collects, why, and your rights. We act as the data controller for your account data, and as your processor for the client data you enter into your workspace.
1. What we collect
- Account data — your email, workspace name and brand settings (logo, accent, defaults).
- Workspace content — the proposals, clients, invoices and briefs you create or upload.
- Signature records — when a client accepts a proposal, the signer’s name, email, timestamp and IP address, kept as an acceptance audit trail.
- Usage & technical data — basic logs needed to run, secure and debug the Service.
2. How we use it
To provide and secure the Service, generate and deliver proposals and invoices, process payments (when enabled), respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the Service, and consent where required.
3. AI processing
When you generate a proposal, the brief and related fields you provide are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the draft. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use your client content to train our own models.
4. Subprocessors
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service:
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (hosted in the EU).
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
- Anthropic — AI generation of proposal drafts.
- Google — only if you choose “Sign in with Google”.
- A payment processor (e.g. Stripe) — only when paid billing is enabled.
Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure. Your appearance preference is stored locally in your browser. We don’t use advertising cookies.
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can delete proposals and invoices at any time, and request deletion of your account and its data.
7. Your rights
If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these, email contact@deev.lu. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority — in Luxembourg, the CNPD (cnpd.lu).
8. Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes we’ll take reasonable steps to notify you and update the date above.
